Diana’s Notes
Hello everybody!!! And welcome to today’s episode, Jesus Knows Rejection, here on Heartfelt Conversations with Diana and me! LOL, how is your day going so far? Well, no matter if you’ve had a fantastic cup of coffee or dumped it all down your brand-new shirt! I hope you are ready to be encouraged and lifted!! And thanks for letting me be a part of your day!
I will confess, I love a delicious cup of coffee in the morning! And, I know that God also loves coffee. And, could you tell me how I know this? If you open up the Bible, God’s Holy, Living Word, you will see a book called He-Brews!! HAHAHAHA - get it He Brews, Hebrews… okay, anywaysssss. LOL
In the previous two episodes, I shared how I felt rejected by my dad’s love and affection. He was unaware of how my tender young heart was confused, lost, and in need of comfort and understanding. He was a good dad, but he couldn’t read my mind or see my heart. You know the saying, “Well, I can’t read your mind!”
People will tell us that they didn’t give us what we needed because we never told them, and we feel like we constantly have to tell them what we need because we never feel heard.
My dad loved me very much, but relationships change, develop, and transform. And as they do, we can’t always know what is happening in other people’s hearts. Most of us are good at revealing only the parts we want others to know or see, but we keep our true selves hidden out of fear, rejection, or maybe just uncertainty, confusion, and inner conflict. The point is that nobody, not one of us, is a perfect person. It is too much pressure to put on the shoulders of another human being to be perfect, without making a single error or mistake.
But as kids, we think our parents are superheroes. They seem to know everything and appear out of nowhere. Parents are very mysterious, and they have all the power! At least that is how it was when I was growing up.
Adults were adults.
Kids were kids.
As a child, I had put my dad on a pedestal that was impossible for him to ever live up to. My dad loved me so much, but he made mistakes because he was a human being, not because he was unaware or didn’t care. Our relationship had to change because I was changing. I was becoming a young lady, and that required a change.
The only One who never changes is God. He is constant and consistent. God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. I find so much comfort in knowing that I will never outgrow the love my heavenly Father has for me right now. I find inner rest and peace in knowing I will always be His little girl, so to speak, and that I will never outgrow the protection of His shadow.
Psalm 121: 7-8 “The Lord will keep you from all harm—He will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.” -
My dad made me feel safe, protected, and under his watch as a child. Some of us have never known the love of a dad because he was never around, or maybe he was around but not very nice.
But God is Good, and it is in His very nature to love you as you have never been loved before—with a protective love, a love that watches over your coming and your going forevermore.
We can trust God with our comings and goings because He is the Creator of the beginning and the end of all things, including us.
Revelation 22:13 - I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.”
One of the characteristics of God that I love so much and that helps me trust in Him is that He is the Alpha and the Omega….
In an article in the Bible Study app, it shared this about Revelation 22 -
…In the last book of the Bible, Jesus reveals himself as "the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End." Present at the world's beginning, Jesus will also be present at its end, when he and his work are finally and fully revealed. When you pray to Christ as the Alpha and the Omega, you are praying to the One who is, who was, and who is to come. He is our all-sufficient Lord, who will not fail to complete the good work he has begun in us.
In this dynamic passage, God reveals part of His character. It corresponds to another name, Jehovah ("I am"), which hints at His eternal nature and unending presence.
alpha rolls on to omega and omega returns to alpha…
continuous “being”
It might seem too marvelous to be true? Yet, Scripture calls us to acknowledge this aspect of God, even if we can't fully understand it.
Psalm 86:10 - "For you are great and do marvelous deeds; you alone are God"

God loves us so much, and for everything we NEED, His answer is I AM. I can care for you, look at the sparrows, they don’t worry about anything, I AM able to love you like no other, look at My hands, see the wounds from the nails, see the wound in My side where My blood poured out for you.
Listen to the rejection, the suffering, the shame, and disgrace our Savior, our Living God in flesh took upon Himself, unnecessarily, but willingly, knowing it was the only way to restore what Lucifer tried to destroy. Our intimate, personal relationship with God Almighty.
God is a restorer, Satan is a destroyer - but Jesus bore it all for us.
Isaiah 53:3-11 - He was despised and rejected - a man of sorrows, acquainted with the most profound grief. We turned our backs on Him and looked the other way. He was despised, and we did not care. Yet, it was our very weaknesses that He carried; our sorrows weighed Him down. And we thought His troubles were a punishment from God for His Own sins! But He was pierced for our sins. He was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed. All of us like sheep have strayed away. We have left God’s paths to follow our own. Yet the LORD laid on Him the sins of us all. He never said a word.
He was led like a lamb to the slaughter. And as a sheep is silent before the shearers, He did not open His mouth. Unjustly condemned, He was led away. No one cared that He died without descendants, that His life was cut short in midstream. But he was struck down for the rebellion of my people. He had done no wrong and had never deceived anyone. But he was buried like a criminal; He was put in a rich man's grave. But the LORD’s good plan was to crush Him and cause Him grief. Yet when His life is made an offering for sin, He will have many descendants. He will enjoy long life, and the LORD’s good plan will prosper in His hands. When He sees all this is accomplished by His anguish, He will be satisfied. And because of His experience, my Righteous Servant will make it possible for many to be counted righteous, for He will bear all their sins.
Jesus went through everything we read in Isaiah so that we could be restored to the full Abundant Life God originally planned for us.
But we can be unaware of God’s love toward us. We can be unaware that He has a good path and plan for our lives and desires so much more for us than we could ever imagine. Our spiritual eyes can become blinded, and our hearts can become hardened when we feel like no one cares, especially if deep down inside, we have tricked ourselves into believing God has rejected us.
No, He has not rejected you. He sent His Son for you.
Jesus suffered and was sacrificed for us to pay for all sin for all time. And He did. Then, on the Third Day, He conquered the grave so that everything destructive, evil, and death could be paid. He rose from the grave so we could have eternal life, AND to leave us a very special Helper since He would be leaving the earth, having accomplished all He came to. He knew how manipulative, deceptive, and destructive Lucifer is. God knows we are weak and do not have the endurance, understanding, wisdom, or even capacity to face everything we would face. So, Jesus gave us a Helper, the Holy Spirit, the same Spirit that raised Him from the grave—the Spirit of God.
Receiving Jesus as our Savior is just the beginning. Our salvation begins with the transformative work of the Holy Spirit, who will lead and guide us through the rest of our journey here when we learn to cooperate with Him.
We will talk more about this other “gift” Jesus gave to us on our following conversation, here on Heartfelt Conversations with Diana
But for now, I believe God wants to encourage us through His word, from the passage we read in Isaiah 53:
1. You Are Not Alone in Your Suffering
Jesus was “a man of sorrows, acquainted with deepest grief.” He knows what it means to be rejected, misunderstood, and to carry deep emotional pain. When you're hurting, you're not alone—Christ understands your suffering intimately. This truth can bring comfort and reassurance: you serve a Savior who walks with you through your darkest valleys, not one who is distant or detached. He has suffered and He knows you, and He knows how to comfort you.
2. Your Healing and Wholeness Came at a Great Cost—Because You Are Worth It
Isaiah tells us, “He was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed.” The depth of Jesus’ sacrifice speaks to the depth of His love. You are not beyond redemption. Your spiritual, emotional, and even physical healing has already been paid for on the cross. Because of Jesus, you can live a life of wholeness, free from shame, guilt, and condemnation.
3. HIS LOVE Covers Our Straying Heart
“All of us, like sheep, have strayed away…” Yet instead of condemnation, God responded with “ Amazing Love, How can it be, that You my King Should die for me” as the song goes. “The LORD laid on Him the sins of us all.” Jesus took our punishment, and God’s love chose to rescue us. Jesus wants you to know that His arms are open no matter how far you've wandered. His grace is enough. It is more than enough. It is not us, our goodness, our best efforts, that will always fail. No, rest in His Love for you.
Does Isaiah 40 sound familiar?
Isaiah 40:29-31 - He gives power to the faint and increases the strength of the weak. / Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall. / But those who wait upon the LORD will renew their strength; they will mount up with wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not faint.
Psalm 73:26 (NLT) - My health may fail, and my spirit may grow weak, but God remains the strength of my heart; he is mine forever.
I’m confident that as we reflect on these simple takeaways and Christ’s suffering, not as a distant event, but as a deeply personal act of His love for you, for me, we will find healing, encouragement, strength and restoration today.
I don’t know if any of you have been struggling, feeling a little weary, or weak. I know I have, so next week, we are going to spend a little time on God’s strength and how we can tap into superhuman energy—supercharged strength!
But until then….

Have A GREAT WEEK, EVERYBODY.
Father, thank you for every person listening today, and I pray and ask for Your divine hand of protection and provision over them today!
I pray for every person listening that You would meet them right where they are. Heal all the broken places—heart, mind, body, soul, and spirit. Release them from the strongholds and dark shadows that choke out Your Presence, Your Goodness, Your Love. Replace fear with faith and sorrow with joy. Show them that they were never alone, not even for one moment. Thank you for Jesus, His sacrifice, the Blood of the Lamb, and new life!
We give you, Father, God, ALL the praise, glory, and honor! Forevermore!
We ask for all of Your favor and blessings as we learn to follow Your ways. We ask these things in Jesus' name. Amen!
Be generous. Stay sweet. Stay rooted in the word. And, choose life—real life’s life that He has for you!

Prayer of Salvation
Jesus has given salvation, healing, and countless benefits to all who call upon His name. These benefits can be yours if you receive Him into your heart by saying this prayer:
Heavenly Father, I come to You admitting that I am a sinner. Right now, I choose to turn away from sin, and I ask You to cleanse me of all unrighteousness. I believe that Jesus rose again from the dead so that I may be justified and made righteous through faith in Him. I call upon the name of Jesus Christ to be the Savior and Lord of my life. Jesus, I choose to follow You, and I ask that You fill me with the power of the Holy Spirit. I declare right now that I am a born again, child of God. I am free from sin and full of the righteousness of God. I am saved in Jesus’ name. Amen.
